Her journey to building Shree Krishna Pickles Private Limited dates back when she moved to Delhi from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. Her husband had a job & started a business along with it. He suffered huge losses in his business and their house & cars were sold in the process. He became very stressed and wanted to kill himself. Krishna then advised her husband to move to Delhi.
With a loan of Rs.500 and a dream to rebuild their world, they moved to Delhi. They put their hands into farming but did not succeed. They were not able to earn money and were stressed about their children's education. Krishna then came across a training programme at KVK, Ujwa where she learned to make pickles out of the vegetables they were growing. She started making pickles and sold them at a roadside cart (rehri). Initially, it did not work, but then they set up two water pitchers. People would stop by to drink water and then Krishna and her husband would ask them to taste the 'achar'. This marketing idea clicked and she started earning a handsome amount from selling pickles. So, the natural idea that came to her was starting a business. She pondered, 'business kaise kare'. Now, another struggle started. She waited 1 year to get a license for the company that she wanted to start but failed. With an initial investment of Rs. 2000, she now is one of the famous business women and the owner of 5 companies. Her business employs thousands of people currently and has a business turnover of crores of rupees.
