I have visited NY DOSAS recently , Thiru Kumar, AKA the Dosa Man, has been running NY Dosas since last 19 Years, a best food cart in Greenwich Village's Washington Square Park New York City. Me makes one of best DOSA of this town , dosas are made from fermented rice and lentils(few types), and stuffed with potatoes, vegetables and INDIAN spicy sauces-have become an international phenomenon.
Thiru Kumar grew up in Sri Lanka and learned to make South Indian recipes as a child from his grand Mother, this is his Grand Mother’s recepi. After he immigrated to the United States in the 90s , he made it his life's work to sell affordable, fresh and vegan dosas to NYU students, professors and all other people who were looking for fresh/healthy food.
