Speaker discusses picking a typical cross-section from multiple slices for 3D volume segmentation to shorten calculation time and train it with that cross-section; then saving the trained classifier and applying it to a larger 3D file.
Now, when you do a CT scan analysis, no, do, um, do the segmentation for 3D volume, you will have multiple slices, but to kind of shorten the calculation time, I think it's probably good to pick a typical cross-section, like the one we're looking at here, and train it using this, uh, cross-section. Then you can save that classifier you just trained. So I'm gonna click Save Classifier and save it in this folder. Then apply that classifier to a larger file that is 3D. That's what we're gonna do next.
