The expected value of a scholarship is the product of the award amount multiplied by the probability of winning the scholarship. Apply for both lucrative and small scholarships.

Use a calendar and checklist to get organized

If you miss an application deadline, you will lose any chance of winning an award. Scholarship programs do not accept late applications. So don’t procrastinate! Please also check for university course deadline as usually scholarship deadline is later than course deadline.
