Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre raises concerns about the awarding of federal contracts

At a news conference on Parliament Hill, Pierre Poilievre, the Conservative finance critic, discusses ethics concerns related to the awarding of two recent federal contracts. It was recently reported that the federal government is paying a firm that employs the spouse of the prime minister's chief of staff for the administration of the federal commercial rent assistance program. Meanwhile, the government's now-cancelled agreement with WE Charity is the subject of studies by two parliamentary committees as well as the federal ethics commissioner.
