Best Lava Day Ever 1177

You guys know that we love doing arts and crafts. Painting, making potions, playing with playdoh, and all sorts of creative and fun things. Today we are going to open a Christmas present that the whole family will have a great time making. The dyi homemade Volcano kit Jenny got me!! Niko Bear is so excited because he loves lava and playing the floor is lava with Adley. We all put on our A for Adley craft aprons and get ready to start making a volcano in our house!

We mix the plaster, get the mold set, and get a little messy before its time to let it set and then go in the over to dry. While we wait, Adley, Niko Bear, and I go to pirate island to see if we can walk to unicorn island. After making sure that it's 100% safe, the kiddos and I walk on the ice and start exploring. We find some mystery animal tracks, that could either be ducks or dinosaurs and as we are following the tracks, we find a little fish frozen in the ice right on the shore. Adley wants us to save him, so we break the ice, and set him free! Get warm little fishy. It's then back to the boat house on pirate island to wash our hands and have a secret donut.

Back home, the volcano is almost ready. So while Niko Bear and Baby Navey do their nap time routine, Adley and I play Roblox with my sisters! We are doing a family costume fashion show, and we vote on who makes the cutest, silliest, or scariest monsters out there. It's so much fun playing this game with Adley, we are constantly laughing and have tons of fun. Jenny comes and joins us and one point we all win the fashion show!

The volcano is done, the kiddos are awake, and its time to paint this bad boy. We mix the paint together and no joke, the kiddos paint an amazing looking volcano. We read the instructions and get read to make our very first eruption. And it does not disappoint! Lava spills out everywhere! We grab Niko Bear's dinosaur toys and pretend play in the lava, while making the volcano explode five or six more times. This was so much fun, we are definitely keeping the volcano so we can keep doing this, making memories, and having tons of family fun!
