Cracking Eggs?

The plaintiff claims he broke a tooth on a rock when he bit into his eggs at the defendant’s diner. He claims the diner’s owner said he’d pay the dental bill but then backed out. He’s suing for the cost of an implant. The defendant says he always doubted the plaintiff’s story, especially since he waited months to have the dental work done.
