Can FSD Beta handle F.D.R and GWB??

Was curious to see what the latest Beta build (v11.4.4) could do on the FDR which is notoriously challenging road section because of the twisty and fast changing / fast flowing traffic. I've tried using Autopilot on the FDR few years back and it was unusable.

Trip starts in Fort Lee NJ, then we take the GWB bridge, and then onto the FDR.

This time around, although there was some hesitation in few spots from the FSD software, in general it was a positive experience with no disengagements from start to finish. Car drove by itself with no input from me apart from the few times where I adjusted the max speed via the wheel knob for comfort. I'd even venture to say that at this point the software is safer than your typical (distracted) driver on a busy road like the FDR. At [23:23] you can see it braked pretty hard because it noticed that the white Sienna to my right was drifting into my lane (you can see it on the center screen). I would have not noticed it myself. The car behind me then started honking at the Sienna.

This is not a general statement on FSD (whether it's ready or not) just my observations on this particular drive. Take it for what it's worth and always pay attention when driving with or w/out FSB Beta :) #fsdbeta #tesla

What's cool to see is the amount of progress there has been and the versatility of the car itself. This car is now 5+ years old. The variety of tests I've put it through. I've put it up against Corvettes on race tracks, raced it on frozen lake and now it's driving me around for a change, navigating traffic by itself.
