Tour of Restoration Design

The episode starts with fabrication of parts but with the notion of hearing there’s a facility near by that produces the very parts I’m making, I’m intrigued to call Restoration Design. With the kind invite to an incredible experience with a lot of Porsche history and a rare tour of the facility, I jump in my truck and make the journey.

After having the live tour last Saturday, it was brought to my attention that restoration garage was located in Canada, and just a few hours away from my location.

When I arrived it looked like a regular business location.... but in the back were thousands and thousands of square feet with a new Porsche development in every corner.

Going though a tour of the facility there were so many extremely rare and sought after cars. Everything From 914’s, 911’s, 356’s, Roadsters, Speedsters you name it and they had it.

After a detailed tour of their enormous new and used Porsche parts, I gave my regards and made the journey home. As for the 914 barn find I bought outer rocker covers, drivers/passengers side roof pillars, and door sills.
