0:00:00 - 0:00:07 - The crushed basalt rock is washed with water and inspected visually by an operator
0:00:08 - 0:00:33 - The clean and sorted rock is carried to the furnaces
0:00:34 - 0:00:47 - The melted basalt is drawn through a bushing with up to 2000 nozzles and wound on cakes at winders
0:00:48 - 0:00:59 – Application of the sizing to the basalt monofilaments
0:01:00 - 0:01:06 - Basalt single-end strand is wound on a cake in form of direct roving
0:01:07 – 0:01:17 – The process of cake’s change on a winder
0:01:18 – 0:01:25 – Transportation of cakes with basalt roving to the drying oven
0:01:26 – 0:01:35 – Assembling process
0:01:36 – 0:01:49 – Alignment of tension of individual single-end strands at assembling machine in order to reduce a catenary of assembled roving
0:01:50 – 0:02:01 – Several single-end strands come out from cakes and are assembled in one roving
0:02:02 – 0:02:37 – Basalt fiber workshop
