Loading a Web View in SwiftUI with WKWebview and UIViewRepresentable - Reading List App (Part 2)
n this SwiftUI tutorial, I'm diving deep into loading web views in SwiftUI using WebKit, WKWebView, and UIViewRepresentable. If you've ever wanted to create a swift web view or a swift browser in your app, this tutorial is for you!
I'll show you how to implement a WKWebView in SwiftUI, which doesn't have a native web component. We'll work with UIViewRepresentable to bridge the gap between UIKit and SwiftUI, making it possible to use these powerful web tools in your SwiftUI projects.
This is part 2 of my series where I'm building a webpage reading list app. I'll guide you through the process of creating a web view, handling URL loading, managing loading states, and even implementing back and forward navigation. You'll learn how to deal with delegates, coordinators, and the sometimes tricky data flow between UIKit views and SwiftUI.
By the end of this video, you'll have a solid understanding of how to integrate web browsing capabilities into your SwiftUI apps. Whether you're building a simple in-app browser or a more complex web-based feature, this tutorial has got you covered. Don't forget to check out the rest of the series to see how we'll expand on this functionality in future videos!
