How To Grow LONG, STRONG and HEALTHY Nails Fast | Nail Care Routine For Beginners Without Tools

In this video, I will show you my nail care routine for growing long, strong and healthy nails without any professional tools.
My nails are proof that achieving long, strong and healthy nails doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. If you can have healthy, long nails on a budget, why not?

*Important* Growing HEALTHY long nails is similar to growing hair, it takes time and good care.

You’ll only need:
- a nail file (I’m sure everyone has one at home!) If you don’t have one, your local supermarket definitely does. I’m using a nail file I bought from my local supermarket (I don’t remember how much but I think it only cost around $4).

Nail Care Routine in 4 Easy Steps:
1. Wash nails with toothbrush and warm water.
Don’t forget the back of the nails then rinse with warm water
Warm water will soften the cuticles and will remove any dead skin on the cuticles.

2. Gently push back the cuticle.
I’m using my other thumb nail and covering it with an alcohol swab to make it less sharp. Scrape any leftover dead skin.
I do not cut my cuticles. The warm water and brush helped remove the dead skin and so cuticle remover products or a cuticle pusher are not necessary. However, feel free to buy an orangewood stick or a cuticle pusher, if that's more comfortable for you.

3. File your nails instead of cutting them.
Start filing the tip to adjust nail length then file the sides.
File nails every 2 weeks. Do not file too often, as this can damage the nails.
Filing helps maintain length and shape. Most importantly, it helps makes your nail stronger and healthier.

4.A step you definitely CANNOT skip
MOISTURISE THE CUTICLES & NAILS
Gently massage the cuticles. Massage for a few minutes on each nail, this can increase circulation around the nails, stimulating nail growth.
I’m using my fav cuticle cream, Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. It moisturises my cuticles and nails so well! It also has Vit E and antioxidants.
You don’t have to use this specific cuticle cream, any oil will do. Alternatives are olive oil, jojoba oil, etc.

Do this routine every 2 weeks to grow longer, stronger and healthier nails.
**Step no.4 (moisturise nails and cuticles) should be done every day (min.1x/day)

After doing this routine for a while, you'll see your nails looking longer, healthier and stronger. This is a great nail care routine for beginners like me as no professional tools needed.
I hope this video motivates and encourages everyone to take care of their hands, nails and cuticles, doesn't matter if you have short/long nails.
