This is a presentation I developed for a group of short, community presentations based on "a question I've always wanted answered." I had to audition, and my presentation was turned down. Part of the feedback was that I fell into the "financial advisor looking for clients" category. Interesting, because I'm not a financial advisor, nor am I looking for clients, but I'm better positioned than most to share with you what really makes a stock go up. I've spent the last 15 years gaining stock investing experience, and doing massive amounts of study on the stock market and investing. I'm happy to report that I've successfully beat the markets since 2008 and you can too.

The other presentations were perhaps more clearly philanthropic in nature, but I believe this presentation IS philanthropic. Doesn't everyone want to know... What makes a stock go up??!

The answer might surprise you. There are three characteristics to look for in a stock that's going up or what's called trend trading.
