Fall Photo Flight

A friend was kind enough to be the pilot in command for a photo flight I wanted to take. We flew from Austin Straubel to Egg Harbor and back to photograph the fall colors. I spent the flight up taking pictures and was able to take the controls for the flight back and was able to fly until about the time we started really descending for final approach. We were fortunate enough to have very little turbulence and were able to catch the sunset off our wing. As we flew over Green Bay on the way back to the field, we flew over Notre Dame high school's football game and the lights of the city.
You can't hear it over the engine noise until just before we land, but he's talking me through everything he does to prime me for my future lessons. Can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday night. The world is a different place from the air. You won't regret checking it out!
