Mothers Back To Black Review - Trim Restorer Review

This is a Mothers Back To Black Review. I use the entire bottle of this trim restorer to attempt to completely renew my black auto trim. Black Trim Restorer can be a little weak if you want a long lasting shine to your trim. I decided to use an entire bottle on trim that has faded over 20 years.

I vacuumed up any loose debris, washed with dawn dish soap, rinsed down with water, and use IPA to give it a final clean. After a standard clean the trim piece was still pretty faded. I applied in four different applications an entire bottle of Mothers Back To Black Trim Restorer. I compared this to just one application of back to black trim restorer on my other faded piece of plastic trim. I noticed even after just one week the application that was just about 1/8 of a bottle faded. This entire bottle application has lasted for about 4 weeks and still is maintaining its black appearance. However there are some spots that are pretty stressed that may never be restored. I would like to possibly try a black dye solution next.
