KS2 Resources: Eating

In this video pupils will get an insight into people’s diets during the Mesolithic. Children will find out about the plants people gathered, the animals they ate, as well as the tools they used to hunt.

Enquiry questions you might like to ask your class after watching the video include:
· What pieces of evidence do archaeologists use to work out what people ate in the Mesolithic?
· What plants and animals do we think people ate?
· What tools did people use to hunt animals?
