Back in 2011, the futuristic novel ‘Ready Player One’ was released. Before it even hit shelves, the movie rights were already sold and it was set to be directed by none other than Steven Spielberg. Now, a few years later, the adaptation has arrived on the big screen.
The central concept in this film is OASIS, a virtual world far bigger than our own, where literally anything is possible. The guy who invented it was absolutely obsessed with 1980s pop culture. When he dies, he posthumously offers a challenge for everyone. He hid three easter eggs in the VR world and whoever finds them all inherits OASIS.
