Faux jade - polymer clay tutorial 045

This is my personal technique on making faux jade. I've tried many but this is the one that works for me. There are probably others out there who make it fairly similarly, I didn't do an intensive research, so I will not claim that I totally invented it.
I have to say that I never go for the "imperial jade" type of faux jade just because with polymer clay, 99% of the attempts of getting that looks like cheap plastic. So this is how I make what is called "mottled" jade. Please read my blog with today's entry about jade for more information.
