Hover in mid-air to beat this boss faster (Donkey Kong Country 3, SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears!

In Donkey Kong Country 3 for the SNES, there's a mechanic you can exploit to essentially hover in the air indefinitely, and in this instance, we can abuse this technique to defeat Kaos faster.

Switch to Kiddy Kong and press A to team up, then bounce on top of Kaos once to damage him. IMMEDIATELY after bouncing, throw Dixie Kong upwards toward the top of the screen, and make sure to catch her on Kiddy Kong's shoulders as she falls. Once you catch her, IMMEDIATELY throw her up into the air again and repeat the process.

This should allow you to essentially hover in mid-air above Kaos, and if you're positioned well, you can repeatedly damage him as his head moves into you. It's not that hard to pull off, but getting more than two consecutive hits with this trick can be pretty difficult.

Still, even getting two quick hits in a row saves you a huge chunk of time in this fight.
