This week on Dining on a Dime, host Lucas Peterson and crew travel to a mash-up restaurant for the ages: King Donut, which features, in addition to its eponymous pastry, really great teriyaki chicken and a self-service laundromat. After decades as a local favorite in Seattle’s Rainier Valley neighborhood, owners and sisters Davie and Chana Hay are closing the shop, but not before Peterson can sample their menu (and wash his pants).
