32 Tooth Sprocket Upgrade - Mk5 Hybrid Motorised Bike
This is the first 32 tooth sprocket I've ever used so I was curious to see how it would perform. It is certainly faster now than with the stock 44 tooth, at the cost of torque, but the 1000w/48v electric front hub more than makes up for this loss in the low end. The bike now cruises comfortably at speeds higher than the top speed I could get originally. Granted it takes a lot longer to reach that top speed because of the loss in torque, you need a decent straight to max it out and I don't think this motor has the power to get the most out of this ratio, as it never feels like it's reaching its full potential.
Having said that, I still managed to eke out about another 15 km/h over the old top speed
