Goh Soon Huat and Lai Shevon Jemie have battled their way into the quarter-finals after surviving a pair of difficult encounters, including a memorable victory over home favourites Rehan/Gloria and a straight-games win against Indonesian seeds Jafar/Felisha.

Now comes perhaps their biggest test yet.

Across the net stand French stars Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue, one of Europe's strongest mixed doubles partnerships and current top-four seeds in Jakarta. The French pair possess excellent court coverage, tactical awareness and plenty of experience in the latter stages of major tournaments.
