DIY WAINSCOTING for HALF THE COST 💵

I show how to install DIY wainscoting in our living room for at least half the cost. This is a simple project that anyone can do. There is more labor involved when you are saving money but it is still any easy project when you follow my step by step instructions. Don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss a video.
For this project I used 1x4 furring strips for all the boards.
Base boards are full width boards, the other horizontal and vertical boards were ripped down to 3". The board on top is a 3" board cut in half, which was about 1 3/8" after the saw blade takes a little off each side.

Material needed:
1x4 furring strips
drywall mud
wood filler
paintable caulking
paint

Tools used -
Table saw
planer ( you can use a sander )
nail gun and compressor
caulk gun
paint brush
