Gold Untouched for 100 Years!

What a great Sunday morning exploring and sampling underground in the #3 adit at the Blue Chip mine. I ended up with 4 nice sized sample bags from the 4 best looking spot inside the mine. I will be taking these samples home and processing them to determine the "Free" free milled gold, the Locked up in rock free milled gold, and the tied up in sulfides gold of each of the four spots along the gold bearing quartz vein.This part of the adit is not quite 100 years old, but it is really old and the process of oxidation over time has freed a lot of gold that would have been locked up back when this place was first dug. And I guess because it is still there in place, you can say this has been untouched for far more than 100 years.
