Hi Everyone, In this video I'm gonna show you How to add Shadows and Highlights to the Cartoon Character in the Open Source Software called GIMP.

Note:
GIMP is the Alternative for Photoshop. So you can try this same method in the Photoshop as well.

Steps:
1. Create a cartoon character from a photo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbtukN4o1Hw Watch this video upto 6:45
2. Create a New Transparent Layer
3. Change its Opacity to 30%
4. Get a Path tool
5. Draw the Path around the Highlights and Shadows
6. Make path into Selection
7. Fill it with Color by using Color Picker and Bucket Fill tool
8. Also use Paint Brush tool with 25% Hardness to brush the Highlights and Shadows
