How to Build your own Half Height, Dutch style door, in a kilt?

Half height doors, also called Double hung or Dutch style doors can be very useful. I'll show you how to Make it Yourself, for under $10, not including hardware.

If you need a DIY Dutch Door or Half door that you can open the top half, bottom half, or both, then let us show you how to make dutch doors. We only show making the bottom half here, but the top would be the same process. I bought the door used at a building materials reclamation store (habitat for humanity) for about $7.00, so really cheap. Add hinges, and a doorknob, used, and you might get it done for about $10.00. Cheaper, and easier than building it from scratch.
