The Tenors & David Foster Hallelujah at Greek Theater LA July 2016

Special guest David Foster on piano performs Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah with The Tenors trio Victor Micallef, Fraser Walters and Clifton Murray. The Canadian operatic pop vocal group are live in concert for the first time in their ten year career without Remigio Pereira at the Greek Theater, Los Angeles, CA on July 29, 2016, opening for jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. The Tenors’ Remigio Pereira didn’t envision the fallout when he altered the lyrics to the Canadian national anthem to include the words “all lives matter” at the MLB all-star game July 12, 2016 in San Diego, holding up a “United We Stand” and "All Lives Matter" sign during “O Canada.” The Tenors subsequently dismissed him from the group "until further notice." His controversial reference to All Lives Matter is seen by many as an offensive, whitewashing backlash to the Black Lives Matter movement.
