KN A Model for the Application of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

In this thesis, titled A Model for the Application of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and its Influence on Project Management Practices in South Africa's Tier One Financial Institutions, the candidate investigated how SAFe is adopted and applied in leading South African financial institutions and examined its influence on traditional project management practices. Widely recognised for scaling Agile practices, SAFe enables organisations to enhance agility, customer focus, operational efficiency, and competitiveness. Through rigorous empirical analysis, the study developed a context-specific model that integrates key SAFe drivers, challenges and barriers, enabling factors, and relevant project management practices.
