This guide only works with the wired version (3 keys + knob, no Bluetooth / no wireless - model: VID: 0x1189 PID: 0x8890)

Important: this keypad is not detected on Mac or Windows when connected with a USB-C to USB-C cable, because the internal board is missing the resistor between the CC pins and GND.
