The Belgian Cenotaph Parade, London 14-07-2018

Each year in July a Belgian Parade takes place in London to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms from both sides of the Channel. Confirming the close ties that unite both countries today.

België is het enige niet-Commonwealth land dat sinds 1934 in uniform en gewapend mag defileren in de straten van Londen, een privilege toegekend door Koning George V ter nagedachtenis van zijn Belgische neef Koning Albert I en ter ere van de heldenmoed van het Belgisch leger.
