Masterbuilt Gravity Series 560 | Pork Belly Burnt Ends

Welcome back to Anderson's SmokeShow! Today we are going all out and smoking some pork belly burnt ends on my Masterbuilt Gravity Series 560, Malcom Reed from HowToBBQRight style! Check it out!

I decided to give this Malcoms recipe a try after seeing how awesome they looked. This is actually one of the easiest smoker recipes that I have done this far.

Start with a nice slab of pork belly and slice it as wide as it is thick, then cut into cubes. Coat the meat thoroughly with your favorite BBQ rub. I chose to use the Sucklebusters Competition BBQ rub. Put them on the smoker at 275F for 3 hours. After smoking for 3 hours remove the burnt ends and place them into an aluminum pan. Coat with light brown sugar, butter, and honey. Now cover the pan with foil and return to the smoker at 275F for another 1.5 hours. At this point remove the foil, apply the glaze (Malcoms recipe below) to the smoked pork belly and leave uncovered in the smoker for 5-10 minutes while the glaze sets up. Thats it! Done.... and let me tell you what..... they are amazing! You can see how tender and juicy those burnt ends are!

Malcom Reeds Pork Belly Glaze:
- 1 Cup KillerHogs The BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Apple Juice
- 1/4 Cup Apple Jelly
- 1 Tablespoon Frank's Red Hot

Combine all ingredients in a small pan and simmer over medium heat until smooth.
