TJ Perkins, Rich Swann and Noam Dar met for a chance at The Brian Kendrick’s Cruiserweight Title in November 2016. Noam went for the finish, Perkins countered him and was looking to tap him out. Swann jumped on Perkins and hit him with a spin kick to pin him and win the match. Then Swann taunted Kendrick. Next week, Noam faced Swann with Kendrick watching. Noam countered Swann, went for the pin and he kicked out. Swann rolled up Noam and he kicked out. Then he hit him with the Spin Kick to pin him and win the match. Then Swann made fun of Kendrick for beating him already two times. Swann beat him a month before and pinned him in a tag match few weeks before. Then Swann told him he will beat him the third time too. Swann and Kendrick met on the inaugural episode of 205 Live for the Cruiserweight Title. Kendrick caught Swann with the Captain’s Hook and Swann managed to break the hold. Swann punched Kendrick, went up on the turnbuckle, tried to hit Kendrick with a superplex but Kendrick turned it into a huge Sliced Bread #2 from the top rope and Swann kicked out. Swann hit Kendrick with the Spin Kick, hit him with the second and then with the third to pin him and win the Cruiserweight Title. Then Swann dedicated his victory to his late mother.
