In the years after the Islamic revolution of 1979, 60 Minutes crew were the first Western TV newsmen to be allowed into Iran since the most recent wave of anti-government bombings. In a blunt interview, George Negus asked Iran's President - Ali Khamenei, now the Supreme Leader of Iran - how he justifies replacing one form of terror, the Shah's police state, with another.
