Don’t Be Deceived - You’re Either On The Road Of Sin Or The Road Of Holiness

The Bible is clear that there are two roads. One is the broad road that leads to destruction, and one is the narrow road that leads to eternal life.

The problem is that many believe the ‘broad road’ is only those outside the church, and that the ‘narrow road’ is those inside the church (those who believe in Jesus).

But, I’d like to show you from the Bible that even inside the church today, there is also a broad road that leads to destruction, and many inside the church are going this way. Yes, even inside the church, there are only a few who are truly born again, walking on the narrow road that leads to eternal life.

Don’t be deceived. You can know a person by their life - not by their confession, or by their going to church, or even by their sharing about Jesus and praying for the sick.

Please watch this video. The message here is something the church needs to hear.

My question to you is, “Are you walking on the broad road or the narrow road?”

Are you a slave to sin that leads to destruction, or are you a slave to righteousness that produces holiness that leads to eternal life?

God bless you,

Some Bible reading:

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 7:13-20)

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God's child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. (I John 3:7-10)

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. (Romans 6:13-18)
