Becoming A Doctor | What is Internal Medicine? Why I Chose IM

Hey guys,
In this video I break down what Internal Medicine is and why I chose to become an Internal Medicine Resident. I personally think internal is one of the hidden gems within medicine that goes so unnoticed. Most specialties: cardiology, pulmonology/critical care, gastroenterology, you name it, all require 3 years of internal medicine. We do cool procedures, take care of basically everyone in the hospital and outside of the hospital and we bridge the inpatient world with the outpatient world.
