We've had an awesome week. Changing it up from blasting and welding this week we got to play with wood and the new sandblaster nozzle arrived. Damien had to do some mods to the sandblaster before we could do the rest of the wet sand-blasting in the galley and studio cabin, so we got a few necessary jobs done.
Damien sized, cut, and painted the wall panels for the starboard for'ard bulkhead in the galley, designed and made the storage locker/wardrobe in the starboard side cabin, and he shaped and cut the plinths that go under the cabinets to be installed in the galley.
All this and in the meantime, we sorted the sandblaster mods, blasted and rust killed the second half of the galley floor, pad welded some pesky corrosion on the portside bulkhead and finished the plinths, ready for painting. But that's for next week...
Finally some progress!
We hope you enjoy it.
Jess and Damien
