Weekly Robotics Meetup #3 - Ascento
The goal of project Ascento is to advance the development of wheeled bipedal robotic systems, bringing them out of the lab to the real world. Our solution combines the best of both worlds:
The versatility of legs to overcome stairs and obstacles, and the speed, energy- and cost-efficiency of wheeled systems. This makes our platform the ideal mobile robot for real world deployment for many applications.
