A man charged at Mombasa Chief Magistrates Court for assaulting a police officer. Salim Nasoro appeared before Mombasa Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and denied the charges. He was charged with assaulting a police officer who was in the execution of duties contrary to the law. The court heard that the accused committed the offense on October 29th 8, 2022 at Kibokoni area in Mombasa County. According to the police records, Nasoro is said to have assaulted Robert Kipchirchir by biting on his left arm while he was executing his police duties. He was released on a cash bail of Sh100, 000 or a bond 200,000 and a surety of the same amount. The case will be mentioned on October 17 this month. #KENYANewsMEDIA
