Yoga Posture Alignment Pt 3

So far we've discovered that alignment requires engagement of muscles for movement into that position and for stability to hold the body in that position.
What do you think of the idea of letting go of the alignment focus a little and rather focus on engagement and support, wherever we find ourselves in a weight bearing practice?

Just like in garudasana, the eagle pose here.
The legs, knees and ankles are not conforming to commonly given alignment principles, yet it is a safe and frequently practiced yoga pose.
