When it comes to portable generators there are a few things that you need to be aware of when it comes to the way the neutral is set up. The majority of portable generators will have a BONDED neutral while some will have a FLOATING neutral while others will allow you to convert between the two setups. This is the topic of today's video and I do my best to walk you through the symptoms of each set up and I show you exactly how to check if your generator has a bonded or floating neutral.
