In an article published by Arab News, former Saudi intelligence chief Prince Turki Al-Faisal argued that the deeper objective behind the US-Israeli confrontation with Iran was to pull Saudi Arabia into war with Tehran, allowing Israel to reshape the regional balance of power. He praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for avoiding escalation, coordinating diplomatic efforts with Pakistan, and preventing wider destruction across the Gulf. At the same time, Russian strategist Sergey Karaganov stated in a recent interview that the world is already living through a “Fourth World War” stretching across Ukraine, the Middle East, and Asia. He accused NATO of pushing Russia toward escalation and warned that future conflict may involve nuclear confrontation as the global order shifts toward multipolarity.
