The first disc features the original tracklisting sequence for the first album of the record as John initially intended. "Bought Her Soul" and "Soul Removal" were ultimately left off the album by River Phoenix's family request (later released on his second album under different names - "Well, I've Been" and "Height Down"). "Ants" was a cassette-only bonus track.
Recorded between late 1990 and mid 1991 at John’s Home in Los Angeles, CA. Produced and mixed by John Frusciante.

Track 1 was a cassette-only bonus track, track 2 was the b-side to the "Estrus" 7" single, tracks 3-11 were released as part of John's second album "Smile From the Streets You Hold", track 12 was recorded live on January 20th 1997 at The Viper Room, track 13 was recorded live on March 28th 1997 at Hollywood Moguls and track 14 was recorded live on April 27th 2001 at Johnny Foley's. Tracks 1-12 produced and mixed by John Frusciante.
