Brutal violence against a cygnet!
In the meantime the parent swans have bred again (6 weeks of breeding) and one day a little cygnet has hatched ... but now mother nature shows us her cruel side ...

The shot was done with a telephoto lens out of my window on the top floor down to a private property!
The owner of the swans stood nearby and tried to defense the cygnet, but he was old and couldn´t protect the victim 24/7. Furthermore he couldn´t raise the swan in his bathtube and there´s not a special space where the cygnet would be safe against attacks from siblings.
Maybe he could have taken the bird to an aid organization for animals, but he didn´t.
After the owner of the swans was gone, I went down to look what I can do, but .... too late .... the cygnet was died ....*
