ODFW changes Eastern Oregon mule deer hunting units to heard range areas

Mule Deer Coordinator for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Josh Smith says they have been working on the switch from units to herd areas since 2005. They've collected enough data to show a more accurate portrayal of population and herd ranges.
