As you all probably saw in the popular Netflix documentary “Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.” Where they interviewed Los Angeles police and Cecil Hotel staff to solve Elisa Lam’s mysterious death.

Elisa Lam was the 21-year-old Canadian college student who was born in Canada to parents of Chinese descent. On January 26, 2013 she arrives in Los Angles, California to stay at the Cecil Hotel, which is right next to one of the most dangerous areas in all of LA, Skid Row. However, due to the Cecil Hotel’s long dark past, they had more recently rebranded floors 4, 5, and 6 as “Stay On Main” to appeal to a younger hip clientele and to distance themselves from the Cecil Hotel’s dark sketchy past.

On February 1, 2013, the day Elisa Lam was scheduled to check out of the Cecil Hotel and leave for Santa Cruz, California, Elisa Lam was reported missing. Police searched every floor and room of the hotel coming up with nothing, but on February 19 the hotel’s maintenance staff sadly found her in the roof’s water tank after guests were complaining of discolored and odd tasting water.

The very last time Elisa Lam was seen alive was in this elevator’s security footage at the Cecil Hotel, so we’re going to piece together the evidence along with breaking down her very odd body language to finally reveal what was going on in her mind and what seemed to have been missed in the investigation.
