Black Country, New Road headline a night of young, new talent at Brixton's The Windmill. Angst-driven lyrics of modern neuroses, social media psychoses, algorithmic hypnoses, spew out against a tight, dense backdrop of experimental, polyrhythmic grooves, overlaid with searing sax and violin.
Members of the other exciting South London act with Black in their name were cheering on from the sidelines. The experience of a total sonic forcefield is something each band can deliver. Filmed by Lou Smith.
