Ullaanbaatar, Mongolia, skyline and tourist attractions

Ulaanbaatar (Ulan Bator) is Mongolia's capital and largest city. The city consists of a central district built in Soviet 1940s and 1950s-style architecture, surrounded by and mingled with residential concrete towerblocks and large ger districts. You can admire the panorama of the downtown, but also see how poor some neighborhoods are.
