DEEPEGS - Story of a Deep Geothermal Drilling Project

This video relays the story of H2020 Project "DEEPEGS" whose goals was to demonstrate the feasibility of enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) for delivering energy from renewable resources in three geothermal reservoir types in Europe.

Coming to completion on April 2020, DEEPEGS's journey was multifold and addressed several aspects related to deep drilling in geothermal, from technology and innovation, to public acceptance, to knowledge exchange mechanisms between research sector and industry, and cross-fertilization between oil&gas and geothermal industries.
