Question: How Do I Build a Free Firewall Because My Company Won't Pay for It?

I'm a worker as IT Executive.
Otherwise I'm a student in Sri Lanka.

Thank you so much for your learning tutorial.
I refer them to raise my knowledge.
I watched 1 of your video which is regarding block, control web sites using open DNS.
I tried to do that.
But failed...
I'm unable to add a network into open dns...
We have static public IP also...
management of my workplace does not provide necessary tools for me to manage the network.
at least firewall, virus guard.
But they expect everything to go smoothly from me.

so, I would very much appreciate it, If you could help me or guide me to implement a firewall without cost.
I tried to test several tools(pfsense, zentyal)
But so difficult for me.
