Kunibakai Karate Do "Kata Itosu Rohai shodan"

Master Anko Itosu or Anko Yasutsune was born in 1831-1915 in the Gibo Village of Shuri (the capital city), Okinawa and died on March 26 1915.
Itosu's students included Choki Motobu(1857-1927), Kenwa Mabuni(1887-1952) and Gichin Funakoshi(1868-1957).
In Japanese is considered by many the father of modern karate, althought this title is also often given to master Gichin Funakoshi and because the latter spread karate throughout Japan.

Anko Itosu to teach Wanshu as well as Rohai, which developed into three versions based on the original Tumaidi (Tomari te) prototype.
